Seventeen year old Emily Stone just moved from Houston, Texas to Buffalo, New York to be closer to her mother. It's the first day of Senior year and Emily already met Samantha (Sam). Sam helps Emily through her first days in a new school. On the same day, Emily has eyes for a guy named Eric. Eric & Emily soon hit it off and when things seem to go well they go from good to bad to better to worse. Will Emily & Eric's relationship survive?Pros:
-The characters are great! Sam & Angie are hilarious. They're your average teenage girls.
-The book had my attention.
-The book is realistic. It can be the story of any teenage girl's life.
Cons:
-The author's grammar is completely off! For example: "I looked around the room and read the posters, amazing how many diseases are in the world.". It should be amazed not amazing. There were a lot of errors like that throughout the book. So you know how many times I had to reread some things until it made sense right?
-The book did get risque though, which bothered me. It pretty much showed how their kisses started off as a kiss and became passionate enough for them to sleep together. Nothing more besides that.
*Despite the cons the book really was interesting. It pretty much shows what every teenager goes through at that age and the consequences you can suffer from having sex so young. It ended at a really tensed moment. I'm definitely going to buy the rest of the books! Overall: 3.5 stars for me!

I won't tell you to not get this, because I did like it, but the lack of detail gets to be disappointing. Emily is the new girl at school and of course the most popular boy Eric falls for her. Then just a few pages later they are close to graduation. (This becomes annoying as the book skips forward way to fast without getting us to fall in love with their relationship.) Eric is a rising football star and his father will not allow anything to get in the way of that. However circumstances arise that will push Emily and Eric closer together. However they believe that their love is enough to get them through anything.
This is a sweet love story betwwen a couple of kids in high school and progresses up to their first year of college. It's pretty juvenile, since it involves typical teenager angst, rabid hormones, strict parents, and cheerleader jealousy. But the couple, Emily and Eric, are sweet, good students, with no hangups or issues. The only part that didn't ring true to me was the issue that Emily took over Eric withholding information about his previous relation with Janice. I didn't think it merited Emily's rash actions. Thank goodness that I have the next two books, because this one ends in a cliffhanger.
I had the weirdest reaction to this book. Usually I am all about the making up and being with your love and sunshine and roses, but this time I thought it would have read better if they had stayed broken up and h had met someone new at the end, leaving us on a hopeful note. H made me mad, and I thought he should have been punished more. Then in subsequent books, like after they finished college or something, they could have reconnected. It would have read more realistically to me. Anyway, as it was, it was ok, but I don't know that I will be picking up the next books because I don't want to see things fall apart and then miraculously get fixed.
eric and emily seem like the perfect people... homestly it is a little apart fromreality... but considering how our messed up world is... i loved it...

i think for a first book no one shld give her any hard times... amazing read... i feel the need to check the kindle store everyday for the sequel...
btw it took me 6 hrs to finish... i am going into 8th grade next yr... and this a maturing book everyone shld read... minus the intimate moments
it took me 2 times re readin to see the grammar errors because i was so in deapth with the book... cant wait to read everlasting love!!!
This book is too cute. It had its moments were things were like "say what" or "what the heck" and "Oh sh**" but I liked every minute of it.
Its a "Romance" story of teens. Ah, to be young again! This is refreshing and more on the traditional sides of things, of how you would want your first love going down. Lucky for us it all plays out in the form of First Love, so we get to experience as if it was really happening to us.
The next book is out and was just released on September 18, 2012. I had a hard time finding it and couldn't find it the first time around when I searched for it in the "search engine" then I typed (Everlasting Love, Now & Forever) and Viola! Popped right up, this time its written with Mellisa Johns and Kelly Anderson. So the Mellisa has stayed on board this time again.
With that I am done, I want to go and read my second book now that I have found it. The link will not work I have tried to put it on here. I am so sorry, I have seen a few do the link I'm just not sure how to do it. Just search the engine and type what I did if you can't find it.
1.5 out of 5 stars. I've wanted to read this novel ever since I saw it released, so when I found it on the free listings I had to pick it up. My only wish is that it wasn't so disappointing. Emily was just so immature and freaked out over the slightest things. Yet, one minute you're thinking she is just this sweet goody goody and within the next she turns into a mean b**ch. Eric wasn't that much better as a main character. I mean yes, he was devoted to Emily, but with his stupid small secrets and his over-demanding father, I feel he was really just swept up in lust not anything meaningful. Together I don't think these two really are going to work out in the long run.
I don't recommend this novel, but I hope for those who read it would like this novel better then me!
